Sony Mobile usually releases a new cell phone every six months. Occasionally Sony announces a new device at MWC. In February 2019, followed by another device at IFA in September. At MWC 2019, Sony modified up its smartphone naming structure. However they launched flagship Xperia 1, along the mid-range Xperia 10 and 10 plus. This is often everything we all know regarding the successor to the Xperia 1 to this point, dubbed the Xperia 2. We thought Sony would possibly move from the six-month refreshes once it launched the Xperia 1. In February, maybe launching a successor to the Xperia XZ3. At IFA in September instead. Recent rumors recommend that the successor to the Xperia 1 is under development. Although, we’ll possibly see it launch at IFA 2019. This would solely be four months when the Xperia 1 was on sale. Although, thus perhaps the first rumors are a sign of what’s to return from Sony Mobile at MWC 2020 instead.
